Sunday Dinner
Sunday Dinners
Jesus lived a life of table fellowship that was open to strangers, neighbors, friends, sinners, religious people, not-so-religious people, children, poor people, rich people… you get the idea: everybody.
This is one way we try to live like Jesus:
Sunday Dinner is a ministry of hospitality with the residents of the Holly Court apartments and Tartan Village. On the third Sunday of every month, a different youth group (either from Grace or from the broader community) prepares a simple but healthy and homemade meal to share with residents in the common room of Holly Court. Youth and residents eat together and get an opportunity break bread with their neighbors. Members of YAC co-host the evening by welcoming residents, orienting and introducing the group who cooks, and praying for the meal.
